The exhibit for humboldt penguins (Spheniscus humboldti) in Aalborg Zoo. The dirt/grass area to the right is a later extension to the exhibit and until around year 2000 the zoo also kept harbour seals (Phoca vitulina vitulina) together with the penguins.
The exhibits for sea lions and penguins were built in 1982 replacing the original ones from 1936. New exhibits for these species are next on the list of major projects in Aalborg Zoo.
