The large African savanna in Aalborg Zoo. This exhibit features rothchilds giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi), grevys zebras (Equus grevyi), greater kudus (Tragelaphus strepsiceros), scimitar-horned oryx (Oryx dammah) and ostriches (Struthio camelus).
The savannah is the largest exhibit at the zoo. All animals can be seen indoors as well in either The African Village or the Giraffe House.
The giraffes used to be able to come all the way up to the visitor fence but due to overfeeding by the visitors this practice was stopped in the early 2000s.
