This in the African Bird Safari, one of the best corners of London Zoo. The Abdim\'s storks are amongst the most visible residents, congregating around the bridge that is dedicated to the memory of Jennifer, the daughter of Gordon and Sarah Brown.
They've been at RP for a long time, long enough for many zoogoers to take them for granted. This is not a common bird in zoos - only 3 UK collections keep them, and only 31 in EAZA.
