Yes, this is Karl, an older male Abyssinian ground hornbill well over 30 years old. Back in 2017, he had damage to his lower beak, and that led him not being able to pick up certain food items. The zoo made him a prosthetic, but I’ve never actually seen him wear it. There is a video of it on the zoo’s YouTube channel.
