I only just noticed the one next to the gentoo reaching up towards the woman looks like a chinstrap penguin, which is odd because I’d seen a previous report that they had none currently.
@BetoYoung, out of the three SeaWorld Parks in the United States, only the San Diego park currently displays emperor penguins. As of this moment, it is the only zoological facility in the nation that maintains the species.
Long story short, SeaWorld Orlando does not have emperor penguins.
@USZOOfan42, I believe they used to display emperors prior to 2013 when the original iteration of Antarctica first opened. Other than that, I have no additional knowledge on the subject.
