Summer of 2006. Adventure Down Under was a temporary Australian-themed exhibit that took place in the Children's Zoo. Here's what changed...

-Australian Walkabout, which is Penguin Walkabout (kept), was already there at the time and had a Cape Barren Goose and Little Penguins.
-Nursery-Koalas and wallabies + small aquarium
-Crowned Lemur cage-Kookaburra (kept in Wings of the World)
-Today's armadillo area-Cockatoo (kept outside of Reptile House)
-Petting Zoo-Emu (kept in Wildlife Canyon)
-Barnyard-Walk-through of kangaroos and wallabies (wallabies kept in nursery)
-Walk-through Flight Cage-Lorikeet Landing (kept)
