Once upon a time, the design firm responsible for this exhibit were the fresh new revolutionaries of the zoo world (Woodland Park Zoo etc.). Something tells me they've lost their edge, to put it mildly.
This Africa 2 complex appears to be horrendous, and full of so many basic design errors it boggles the mind.

I almost want to think J&J had their hands tied on this one. At least that's what my gut tells me (it also tells me that pizza is a good thing). These two exhibits however are quite horrible. There are way better Hyrax exhibits out there. Just look at the kopjes at SD or Dallas.
