With all of the criticism with some of Cincinnati Zoo's exhibits over the years (Cat House, Nocturnal House, Bird House and Reptile House) I must say that there are some good outdoor yards and this future lion exhibit definitely looks quite impressive in this photo. What is below the visitor fence? Does the yard slope downwards or is there any kind of moat present? Also, what is on the other side of the tall rock walls?

Are the zoos white lions elderly, and if so are there plans to replace them with a new species. Its interesting that the zoo has 2 lion and flamingo exhibits.
