An interesting concept. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the Woodland Park zoo have a similar opportunity many years ago? I’m not sure how I feel about this, it may be just as harmless as giraffe feedings but I imagine elephants need to move around significantly more and standing in one spot for a few hours can’t be too good.
@pachyderm pro Yes, WPZ charged something like $10 per person to feed the elephants but at Opel Zoo people just buy carrots and then they can feed the elephants as much as they want for free.
