No, its a steel beam. There is not a moat around this exhibit.

How big is this exhibit and how many elephants do they have? What are their sex ratios?

The exhibit is broken into two on display yards, a barn and at least one off display. The total area is around 3 acres. The sex ratio is 2.3.0, 3 adult females, one adult male and one male calf.

I agree, I actually thought maryland had a much smaller exhibit.
