That seems like very strange behaviour, I have never heard of elephants just lying down, exposed like that. Does anyone know why they might have done it?
Our safari guide said it was unusual behaviour, but that he thinks that they were just playing around on this hilll. They didn't lie down like this for very long. They were with a heard of about 20 others.
