After years of having Rock Hyrax crammed onto a tiny ledge in the vast Desert Dome, the zoo seems to be atoning for its mistakes of the past with the construction of this delightful, huge (by hyrax standards) enclosure for that species. This 'Kopje' part of the zoo is reminiscent of San Diego in terms of its design elements.
