They used to keep Fur seal there, although it stood empty in the final years before the renovation. The Puffin exhibit was a likewise unsuitable exhibit for Gentoo penguin.
@lintworm Fur seals in this exhibit...wow. Truly that would have been poor animal welfare. I thought that it was probably too small for a few penguins!
