This is one of the most interesting and unique zoo hippo viewing experiences I've ever had. It's totally "Disney" but very exciting and fun. Hannover's conversion from standard zoo (concentrating on hoofstock) to an "experience zoo" seems to be the wave of the future--see the new Spanish zoos for example. Does anyone know if the Arctic exhibit construction has begun?
