Thanks for including the signs! The Hamerkop is a great bird and sort of a standard one for the U.S., but I'm not sure what's going on with Western Plantain-eater and Wattled Lapwing. These are both rare in the U.S., but this is the second time that I've seen both species in the U.S. this year - Atlanta has Western Plantain-eater and Fort Worth recently acquired Wattled Lapwing.
@Summer Tanager those definitely caught me off guard as well, they had not been mentioned by a single bird keeper when I had asked about what species we were going to see on exhibit. Both are currently behind the scenes though, and are planned to be introduced by the end of October.
