Thanks! It's the enclosure which backs onto the café in Carnivore Territory. When I last visited in Oct 2014 it held young cheetah.
There were two adults in this enclosure when I visited, with several others (mainly pups) easily visible in the offshow enclosures directly downhill from the café (ie. below this enclosure).
Oh right ok. They constantly move the cheetahs/wild dogs around! How many cheetah/wild dog enclosures did you see? Last time I went I saw a cheetah exhibit on the truck drive, one by the cafe in carnivore territory and another one by the entrance. Then the large wild dog pack on the drive, and another wild dog enclosure with 2 individuals next to the cheetahs by the entrance.
From your description of that off-show enclosure, I think they must have replaced where the brown hyenas were.
