The North American Regional Studbook for the African Elephant states the International Animal Exchange (based in Michigan USA) sold 1.4 African elephants to the Taipei Zoo in fall 1986. Does anyone have any follow up information regarding these animals? Are they all still living? I assume the two pictures are part of this original group?
