I didn't see the heron get killed.But judging from the color and size of the wing,and how common herons are at skansen,especially at the otters and seals exhibits, it iswithout a doubt a heron,
I am sorry about the poor grammar,as I was writing it on my phone and it was raining outside,so it was extra hard to type.Sorry if I sounded a bit ignorant in the first comment about the certainty that it was a heron.In Sweden, the only bird of this size with similar coloration is the Grey heron,and as I said above,they are very common at the zoo.
Does anyone know how common otters eating herons are?
