I have never been to Germany or heard of this specific zoo, but looking at these pictures, it seems to me to be an absolute gem of an establishment. This desert building especially looks fantastic; it looks like one of the best indoor exhibits in the world for my tastes, as I would rather see lizards, sand rats, small birds, and dung beetles over a "desert dome" or similar type of habitat with large desert species that could use more space than indoor habitats usually provide.
Plus, it's nice seeing one of the two agamid species I have seen in person in the wild in this habitat (Stellagama stellio).
