Has he been mixed with the female yet?

They need to wait a year or so to do that till she becomes sexually mature.

I was talking to the keeper who fed the leopards today and whilst I was doing so, she was asked by one of the volunteers whether the pair would be mixed yet. Her reply was that Kaia has just been in season and she was very flirty with Akin (through the mesh) who also showed interest in her, so they might try to mix them next time she is in season.

Aha, good to see things have progressed since initial talks.
