@olhl.animal.photography Yes, they're indeed extinct in the wild, but there's already quite some programs focusing on reintroducing some of the remaining/captive bred individuals back to their natural habitat (with a few individuals alredy being reintroduced). There's some other Brazilian zoos who also hold this species, but those here in BH are one of the few pure Pauxi mitu in exposition in the entire world
