If my memory is correct, this most recently housed a Puma. Beyond the removal of the external wire-mesh, and the clearing out of the cage furnishing, it's hard to see that much has gone on here - although, of course, the stuff that takes time to do is often the stuff that isn't obviously straightforward to see.
 
Is this at the narrow end (to become large netted exhibits), or at the wide end (largely remaining similar for small cats)?
 
@FunkyGibbon This is the last of the old cages, before the Cheetah exhibit. There used to be a Prairie Dog pit in front, here (they’ve now relocated to a much smaller display, near the Tierpark entrance).
