It is a cheap exhibit to put together. The slab the gator is laying on is heated, as is the pool. Fencing is obvious but at least there is a large viewing window that most visitors appreciate. It separates the Whooping and Sandhill Cranes until the “island" where you can see the other female gator. Both Crane exhibits have fish that breed. Not sure of species. Other native critters inhabit the ponds. The Whooping Crane also shares its exhibit with ducks. Goldeneye and something else? Merganser, I think?
