That's a nice bonus for hotel guests. Thanks for uploading some photos from your recent stay at Pairi Daiza, as it is fascinating to see the luxurious (yet expensive!) accommodation at the zoo.
@snowleopard When we arrived at the hotel that evening the Alpine marmots were out and somewhat active, which isn't always the case with that species and was indeed a nice bonus. We didn't however see them again afterwards as they were in their dens.
Thank you for your nice comments. The accommodation at Pairi Daiza indeed isn't cheap (and The Paddling Bear is the cheapest still), but there is a lot included such as park access with benefits (9AM access to entire park, 24H access to two areas), parking and dinner and breakfast, and the accommodation is rather nice. So I would say it is worth it and would absolutely recommend it to zoo enthusiasts. We did judge the more expensive accommodation to be a little too much for our purposes, but I understand why people would book those.
