gentle lemur 30 Sep 2019 Altolamprologus actually, but I can never distinguish between A. calvus and A. compressiceps.
Hipporex 2 Sep 2020 Update: After a little digging, I can say these are Calvus cichlids (Altolamprologus calvus). If you scroll down, on this web page it compares the two (Altolamprologus calvus & compressiceps - How to tell them apart - Lake Tanganyika Cichlids - Québec Cichlidés).

gentle lemur 3 Sep 2020 @Hipporex Interesting! Thank you. I believe that the ichthyologist's technical distinction is that calvus has fewer scales on its head (it's the Latin word for 'bald'); which is no use at all when you look at live fishes in an aquarium.
