This is an extremely large, naturalistic exhibit that has sloping riverbanks along its outer edge. For me this was the major highlight of the new Amazon and Beyond section of the zoo, and the representation of South American animals in this area is perhaps bettered only by Range of the Jaguar at the Jacksonville Zoo.
I can't wait to come to this zoo, my plan after visiting the Tampa Zoo and Aquarium is to go to Miami Zoo. I also can't wait to see Amazon and Beyond since the area will have about 3 years of growing(hopefully I can go in 2011).
