The lizard may be small, but the exhibit in comparison to other zoos' lizard habitats is enormous. It's open and there is only a small glass barrier to the public, so I think it might even be possible for someone to reach in, stretch their fingertips, and touch the water.
Looks great for this awesome lizard. If you can touch the water I just hope the caiman lizard keeps distance. They are worth several thousand dollars in the private market though I heard a few captive bred recently have entered the market for just below 1000 dollars per animal. Still enough money to fear some idiot would try it if he could reach it.
