And it is even worse now I have viewed it! I'd much rather the Bison were still down there than the current Lions. Not that F L has Bison any more of course - very sad, it's one of my favourite mammal species (not so keen on the European though).
No worries, Andrew..it's fine. I remember these as well and liked seeing them. I've actually seen these in the wild in the USA...magnificent beasts. I saw a sign reminding you that Bison could sprint at 30mph..3 times faster than you could run!
I don't know how fast I could sprint now, but I'm sure I could have managed more than 10 miles an hour at one time! Despite my unathletic appearance I once managed the Bridlington Half Marathon in under 90 minutes, so over a short distance and with a Bison on my tail I'd have hoped to go a bit faster!!
