American Toad (wild)

These and Western Chorus Frogs and another unidentified frog were singing for the entire hour + that we were down in the Canadian Domain

was there any sign of spawning at all Mr.W? a great shot too by the way

We did not see any tadpoles or eggs and I just looked through my other pics and don't see any. This has been a very late spring for us, quite cold. It sure was noisy, with lots of frog and toad activity in the pond and along the edge.
Thanks for the pic compliment - we could see three species in close range but they were so active, could not get more than one in a shot.

There actually are wild toad tadpoles in the Americas wetlands along with leopard frog and one other species (it might have been green frog, but I forget). They were pointed out to me by a zoo staff member while I was volunteering there last weekend. I don't know if there are any in the Canadian Domain.

There are usually bull frogs and spring peepers and at least one other at the wetlands.

There may be eggs and tadpoles in Can. Domain too but we didn't notice any around where we were.
