@MonkeyBat Only two colonies left, one in Berlin and the other in Slimbridge. The number of animals must be around 30 but more worringly, breeding is scarce.
A large group of 30 or so in Slimbridge I thought, but all non-breeding. A smaller group is held in Berlin that does breed.
Berlin also imported 3.3 from the private sector in 2017, possibly birds from the place that Planckendael send it's group to in the past. I heard that the owner mixed the Andeans with Chileans resulting in hybridization, so I don't suspect a lot more to turn up from the private sector.
