This image concludes my photographic overview of Pairi Daiza.
This overview has not been without some serious issues and a result I have decided to not immediately start working on my selection from the next zoo I visited.
I am going to be taking a break from posting in the gallery for a while to think about things as well as to probably adapt my work methods for the gallery postings.
It is I think likely that I will resume posting in the gallery at some point, but there is at this point no absolute guarantee that I will be able to resolve things sufficiently to be able to return.
I thank everyone who has supported my postings and I hope you will continue to enjoy my stuff even in my (hopefully temporary) absence.
I have been fascinated by your Pairi Daizi photos; you have provided such a comprehensive set, including many of the animals and enclosures that I passed by. This will give a ZooChatters a much clearer idea of the huge range of animals and enclosure types at this extraordinary zoo.
I deliberately followed a very different strategy, concentrating on a much smaller number of unusual species. The interesting thing is that very few of our photos resemble each other, indeed I can only think of one image of yours, which is almost identical to one of mine, and I haven't posted that one yet, because I have been slowed by problems with my computer system.

Unfortunately it was exactly the strategy of providing a comprehensive overview that caused some of the issues that have arisen and that have resulted in me going on a (likely temporary) hiatus to rethink how I do these things. I'm not going to say at this point that I am not going to comprehensive overviews anymore and I don't think it is likely I'm going to scratch that, but I need to change some things.
And on top of that I need some time to myself and to rest as I'm not feeling 100% well right now.
