How many giraffe are now kept at Bioparco di Roma?
They previously held hybrid females Caroll (born 1992) and her daughter Cameron (born 2005) from Dvur Kralove and a female calf named Gina (born 2010) to Caroll.
Last year they supposedly received a new reticulated male giraffe born in Koeln Zoo. Persistant rumors that a female reticulated may soon join him from northern Europe.
