The signage in this aviary a year and a half ago stated Pinon's (Imperial) Pigeon, Ducula pinon, but I'm not great at bird ID and have no references to check.

As said, surtainly a Ducula-species but also surtainly NOT a Pinon´s !
Most probably a Green Imperial-pigeon ( Ducula aenea ) but without seeing the front, the tail and the fact that it is prob. still juvenile I can't say it with 100 %.

Ok, I found my photos of the Pinon's in this aviary, and the bird here definitely isn't one! :o

Jurong had a number of imperial pigeons (including Green, Pied and Purple-tailed) and given it probably came from there, Green seems very likely.

OK, thanks guys, I'll go with Green Imperial but will try and get a frontal pic next time I am back.
