One of the biggest attractions in AQUA are the five articifial lakes located next to the main building. Visitors can observe the life in the lakes from inside the building and the five different lakes represent five different freshwater biomes: The Polluted Lake, The Clean Lake, The River, The Bog and The Otter Lake. A brilliant concept really inviting vistors to observe the life ind the Danish lakes and rivers.
This exhibit holds European otters and gives really good underwater viewing for the visitors. The otters are also viewable outside.
