Antwerp's aquarium has a row of saltwater tanks on one side, a row of freshwater tanks on the other, this large living reef tank at the end of the aquarium and two pools (small one with goldfish and large one with koi) in the entrance hall.
@snowleopard It is definitely one of the most impressive tanks I have seen, definitely up there in the top of favorites together with the large shark tank and the reef tank in Burrgers' Ocean at Burgers' Zoo. I love Antwerp's aquarium, in my opinion it is one of the most beautifully preserved and renovated buildings at Antwerp. It is one of my favorite places in the zoo.
I hope to visit it again as soon as possible. The zoo is open, but all animal houses are currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. For Antwerp that does really impact what a visit offers.
