It is good to know more collections are finally taking on striped hyaenas (and also those from known sources and recognised subspecies!?!
The Arabian subspecies of striped hyaena unfortunately remains widely prosecuted by farmers and herders and I would regard in many habitats across the Middle and Near East just hanging on by a thread or alas location-specific extinct...in various significant mountain ranges across the Arabian Peninsula and beyond!
