This is great to see. It was under construction when I was at Wuppertal Zoo in the summer of 2019.

@snowleopard Looks really nice, indeed. I know you mentioned it in your review.(You should ask the moderators to index the zoos in all your threads on the first page :) They are invaluable reference. I was at Wuppertal in 2018 and don't remember anything, but posters.

@Mr Gharial Looks like they're planning- Chilean Flamingo, Hyazinth macaw, Sun Parakeet, Red-fronted macaw, Lear's macaw, Blue-throated macaw and Pudu. I saw only the first three and I don't think that the others arrived . Wuppertal will be one of the three facilities in Europe breeding Lear's Macaw (not sure, who are the other two - Pairi and Prague?) and will offer special behind the scenes tours.

Keeping (and breeding) Lear's macaws in a dating aviary for Hyacinth macaws seems like an odd choice. Wouldn't the two crossbreed? And what happens if a Lear's macaw forms a bond with a hyacinth macaw?

@PossumRoach you are most likely correct, Loro Parque could be one of the breeders. The Aralandia is defiantly a look in the future. The shape of the steel bars is inspired by bird's wing. Take a look at the video in the previous post.

@PossumRoach After seeing macaws in the Queens Zoos large walkthrough, I never look at stick exhibits the same way. Just seeing their behavior when in larger flocks and with more territory is amazing. Like the picture below could've been taken in the wild.

@PossumRoach I agree, I went to Nashville Zoo this summer (I try get my parents to take me to zoos/aquariums at least a few times a year) the hyacinth macaws were on an open island, if they had netted that over and not clipped the macaws wings it would be much much better.
