@TinoPup It's so weird to know that the zoo likely spent quite a bit of money on the mural and mock-rock, but there's literally zero natural substrate and the outdoor yard is a small dirt cage. And this exhibit was built in 2016!
@snowleopard I've seen roadsides have better mock rock than this place seems to do! Much of it looks like they paint it themselves too (esp the grison exhibit), vs getting local artists or something. Substrate is so important for so many reasons.
