Haha. There is a small exhibit for thick-billed parrots quite close to the cougar enclosure, and those birds were making an awful racket while I was there.
The parrots are noisy when you are near them, but there is NO WAY you can hear them all over the zoo. And it's not that tiny either, I would characterize it more as a mid-size zoo.
