For my 10th anniversary ( and 33.000th photo ) I wanted to place a very special photo and this one is surtainly VERY special !
It's the first of this species on ZooChat and I've been behind this species for 23 years. It was high on my wish-list 23 years ago when I visited the Gambia for the first time and this year it was even the number one on my must-see species list. By visiting the The Gambian Reptiles Farm I discovered the species was kept behind the scenes and thanks to the director I was able to take a nice serie of photos of the 2 animals ( the only ones in captivity ) and even to hold one in my hands !
