While I don't dislike theming in zoos in this case I think it went too far. While it appears that the elephants have access to a soft substrate a lot of the enclosure is stone/concrete. In addition the actual theming itself is pretty ugly, the sandstone and seemingly random logs really emphasizes the exhibits ugliness. Just my opinion, if anyone has more information regarding the zoo and its elephants/elephant exhibit I'd love to hear it.
