There is indeed a pheasant that shares the space with the babirusa and milky storks, and also Indian crested porcupines are rotated with the babirusa in this exhibit.
Except for aquatic species & animals of very large dimensions, almost any animal could be kept here to a greater or lesser degree of success.Every zoo would do well to ensure that at least a few enclosures are built to a very flexible design, as the constant changes in stock due to births, acquisition opportunities, etc mean that even the best-planned & most-organized zoos are thankful to have such enclosures available while more definitive & permanent accommodation can be finalized.
