Kai-Mook, born May 19th, 2009, was the first Asian elephant to be born alive in Belgium (previously there was only the stillbirth of Dumbo's twin calves) and was born to the late Khaing Phyo Phyo and sired by bull Alexander. On January 13th, 2018 she had her own first calf, Tun-Kai, sired by Chang.
