The zoo has almost finished expanding the exhibit and renovating the barn for its two elderly Asian Elephants. However, in the newly released Master Plan there has been the declaration that once the remaining two elephants pass away then the zoo will no longer have elephants in its collection. Greater One-Horned Rhinos (called Indian Rhinos in the Master Plan) will be added to the zoo instead.
