This appears to be a hybrid between the two subspecies from Israel. Whether the Israelis did this on purpose or it was an accident i do not know.
But i certainly hope they keep the Onagers apart from the Somali asses as the union would yield an infertile hybrid and Onagers are too rare at the moment to experiment with..
