Asiatic Black Bear Exhibit

@FunkyGibbon That looks like a big pool. Do Asian black bears go in the water often?

I didn't see it here, but all the bears were at the other side hoping for people to throw food. I've seen Asiatics go in water before though.

Considering they went to the trouble to design a large pool with underwater viewing, they must do it fairly often. When I first moved to Tucson early 1990's Reid Park Zoo had an Asian black bear with a small pool and I do recall the bear sitting in the pool.
