Not 'junk' I would suggest, and of more interest to those of advancing years - yes, you'll get there too, one day! - but certainly rather out of place?
Was there any explanation, signage etc?
@Andrew Swales I didn't mean to use the word junk in a demeaning way, but I guess it comes off wrong, so I have changed it to the more neutral objects. I admit that I do believe materials like this have a value, even if I don't always understand it.
That said, these objects do look out of place here and no, there was no signage or explanation of any kind.
