This island has given the orangs no opportunity to climb for some time now, so I was very pleased to see that this work has started. There is similar activity on the gorilla island, with a similar plastic pontoon bridge over that moat too. As the zoo will be closing on weekdays for most of this month, I hope these teams will be able to do something similar on the larger orang island too.
