I was just going to back and edit those, however my conversation with the docent made it seem like he implied there were no greys. I asked him, "Is that an Eastern Grey Kangaroo?" He said, "No I believe that's our only male Red Kangaroo, Hatari". I'm surprised that he didn't mention or try to point out to me which ones were grey kangaroos. Unless I'm over thinking this...
Well, thank you for the information. It's unfortunate to hear that. I knew there was at least one the last time I was there, but I didn't realize that there was only one nor that she was so old. It's a shame to see another species vanish from this region of the zoo.
