Was this a new development for you since your last visit to Zurich Zoo? I know that the building is an old one renovated for Australian fauna, but what was this area a few years ago?

@snowleopard This was once an African building, hosting black rhinos, pygmy hippos, shoebill and a plethora of other birds. Hopefully I'm not missing what else there was.

I thought this was a new building made just for Australia. I mean it looks like it is designed to resemble the famous Sydney Opera House.

This building and the Sydney Opera House were actually finished in the same year.

@antonmuster So then maybe the Sydney Opera House was actually designed to resemble the Zoo Zurich building!
